It’s a common question, and there are a few different reasons why your iPhone camera might be flipping your pictures. Let’s take a look at a few of the most likely possibilities.
One reason why your iPhone camera might be flipping your pictures is that you have the mirroring feature turned on. When this setting is enabled, your iPhone will reflect whatever it sees in the viewfinder back at you – including any text or images that are reversed. If you’re not sure whether or not this setting is turned on, simply open up the Camera app and look for the tiny icon of an arrow pointing outwards from in front of a horizontal line.
